Il avait adhéré à la CGT.<br /> <br /> Il n’est pas membre d’un parti, et se déclare antifasciste.<br /> <br /> Séparé avec un enfant, il demande que l’allocation soit versée à la grand-mère.<br /> <br /> Il demeurait 9, passage Basfroi (Paris11e).<br /> ==L’Espagne==<br /> Auguste Wauquiez arrive en Espagne le 28 novembre 1936.<br /> <br /> Il est affecté à la Compagnie de mitrailleuses du 11e Bataillon de la 13e BI.<br /> <br /> En janvier 1937, il est transféré à la 14e BI et participe aux combats du Jarama.<br /> <br /> En mars 1937, il est nommé caporal. Il est également cité à l’ordre du jour:<br /> « Je fus volontaire pour reconnaître des positions ennemis jusque que l’ennemi me tire dessus. Je revint à mon poste après avoir accompli ma mission. »<br /> <br /> Le 26 mars 1938, lors des combats de l’ [[offensive franquiste d’Aragon]], il est blessé à Caspe alors qu’il effectuait une mission en moto par une bombe d’avion. Il va être hospitalisé pendant deux mois.<br /> <br /> Il va être à nouveau blessé, le 20 septembre 1938, pendant la bataille de l’Ebre, par un éclat d’obus à Corbera.
